I like salsa. I often buy jars of salsa, trying to find the good ones. I happened to be traveling in Minnesota just over a year ago and purchased a jar of Mi Costenita Salsa Roja from a grocery store in Faribault, MN. The heat in this salsa is spectacular!! I love spicey foods, but so many times the heat overwhelms the flavor, and you're just left with the after burn. But, when you find a product that has the spice and heat, but also has a superb flavor, that is a rarity. That is precisely what Mi Costenita has achieved with their Salsa Roja. Luckily, I was able to find Mi Costenita online and have been ordering Salsa Roja BY THE CASE ever since. This salsa is the absolute best I have ever had. Don't believe me? Fine.
